A Wasp Thinking

A wasp flies in the gazebo with me

and hovers about in the roof thinking,

There’s paperwork to be done here.

September, nearly October, eh?

Canada! How slender my waist!

I don’t think anyone knows where I am.

What a delightful deal I am given—

to be in this world with a mackerel sky! Holy

mackerel! Who cares what gets done!

Well it matters if we want to survive!

Luckily not everybody’s like you.

What the expletive! I can’t help it.

Maybe they could use a poem.
