Humphrey Dunfie

Humphrey Dunfie dug a big hole

right in the middle of his floorboards,

going down two or three feet or so

and placing a can therein.

He sprayed the can with insecticide

and filled it with paper money,

covered the hole with steel plate

and put his floorboards back.

He situated a rug over all

and wriggled his toes in the fur;

thence gave nickels and dimes as alms

and considered himself a prince.
