Humphrey Dunfie

Humphrey Dunfie dug a big hole

right in the middle of his floorboards,

going down two or three feet or so

and placing a can therein.

He sprayed this with insecticide

and filled it with paper money,

then covered the hole with steel plate

and put the floorboards back.

Placing a rug over everything

he wriggled his toes in the fur.

Giving nickels and dimes to the poor

he considered himself a prince.
