A Verdun is beaking bugs off buds

and blossoms on the bougainvillea.

Likewise with the cape honeysuckle.

There was nothing like this years ago.

How did they get here altogether?

How did they ever find each other?

We planted the plants.

That much is certain.

The rest appeared out of thin air.
