Lies And Insults
Why don’t we cheer each other up,
saying, You haven’t aged a bit!
not noticing if we drool.
I won’t say, Jesus Christ! Your hands!
They look like a couple of clobbered crabs
that competed unsuccessfully for
The Kingdom of Straighter Fingers!
And you won’t say anything either,
I hope, about my shrunken shank,
as Shakespeare called it,
with his skill of insulting everyone,
including poor innocents like ourselves
in the troubled times of posterity.
