What To Do Next
You will find the question often arise:
What should I do next?
And the answer is not often obvious.
(If it were there would be no need to ask.)
When it isn’t, and these are the cases in point,
deriving from the essentially equivalent profit
of next doing any number of things,
or none, for that matter, except that this leads
to a galloping case of extreme ennui,
we would like to have some guiding principle,
And that, Gentle Reader, is what I give here:
Do whatever is closest to hand!
If you have no need to put out a fire,
if you don’t have any wolves at the door,
or spills on the floor, or stuck toilets,
work wherever you’re standing or looking.
