World Women’s High Jump (2025)

Youtube remembers what I like

and, even though several years had passed,

offered up World Women’s High Jump.

All those beautiful beanpoles leaping

ever-so-high in light rain,

smiling sidelong into the camera

whenever they cleared,

making happy little Hi-There! gestures—

brisk, sporting waves of joy—

Well I declare! It was an hour well spent!

From all over the world they came:

dark ones, pale ones, in-between,

wearing exactly the same costume,

a halter and shorts and shoes,

bounding up to the bar, bare-bellied,

leaving Earth behind--

speaking of which, they all had buttocks

(I couldn’t help notice), and that was enough.

Girls like those don’t need no boobs.
